NYC: Car Falls 40 Feet Down Elevator Shaft
New York City officials say an SUV plunged about 40 feet down an
elevator shaft at
a garage, injuring two people. A parking attendant
pulled the SUV into an elevator,
but the lift wasn't there. The vehicle
fell and landed upside-down. (July 17)
