JTECH CENTER

Hundreds of Brooklyn household heads attended an employment event at the new J Tech Center's headquarters in Williamsburg on Sunday March 24   ,shortly before Pesach.  The J Tech Center is a dual-faceted technological training center, offering the options of learning computer-related skills at the center in Williamsburg, or accessing the courses online from the comfort of one’s home computer.

Rabbi Chaim Desser, Executive Director of www.JTechCenter.com, addressed the information-seeking participants. Rabbi Desser is also recognized as the widely respected founder of The Poel Group, an executive job-recruitment firm. For many years he has been tirelessly assisting the community with essential employment needs.

Rabbi Desser stressed the importance of the crucial skills that are critical in today's working environment. He explained that the estimated 20% unemployment rate in the frum community is due to the lack of basic computer skills that are vital in today's ever-advancing business world.

Today, the well-paying factory-type jobs of yesteryear are extinct. In order to obtain a competitive edge, basic computer skills are a must; advanced computer skills are that much better.

Rabbi Desser elaborated on a typical case in point which occurs nearly daily in the frum world:

A typical yungerman marries a Heimishe School graduate. Shortly after their marriage the debts begin creeping in, slowly at first. After a few short years, the bewildered couple finds themselves deeply entrenched in the red zone. Monthly rent or mortgage payments, utility and health care bills, child care, tuition; the expenses begin avalanching, nearly crushing the couple underneath its heavy burden.

Desperately seeking gainful employment to stem the tide of their swollen debts, the couple religiously responds to all of the classified ads seeking employees. Unfortunately, they miserably fail one interview after another due to their dismal lack of marketable computer abilities. No employer wishes to teach new employees simple computer skills necessary for even a basic office position.

Until The J Tech Center in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, New York, opened its doors, students in the heimishe community did not have a viable option for hands-on computer training if they wished to steer clear from Internet access at home.

The J Tech Center is a training center equipped with self-service computer courses. Students do not have to bring the Internet into their own homes. They train in programming, bookkeeping and networking, among hundreds of other course options.

Students enter the center on their own time, whichever time slots work out for their specific schedule. They learn one-on-one, computerized lessons at their own pace and study whichever course best suits them, with separate hours for men and women.

A volunteer assisting The J Tech Center in this nonprofit endeavor enthusiastically relayed to our news channels of the deluge of students streaming to the center. Like enthusiastic gold miners, the new students have discovered the key to their future financial stability.

Since www.JTechCenter.com launched their new website last week, thousands worldwide who do have Internet access jumped onto the career train, choosing from over 500 courses to better enhance their marketability in the business world. Many currently employed students of www.JTechCenter.com are upgrading their skill set by training in one of the J Tech Center's hundreds of courses on their own time, from the ease of their home computer. Their newly learned skills can be their ticket to a well-deserved raise.

The new website is also attracting users outside of our community due to its incredibly low costs. A one-year subscription per person for many of the center's packages costs only $197, enabling one to receive 100% education for 90% less than the cost of live courses.

The J Tech Center offers the latest and best interactive, step-by-step courses available.
The center's curriculum is identical to courses that prestigious professors deliver in top colleges. www.JTechCenter.com is specifically designed to make learning easy and enjoyable.

The J Tech Center's system remembers where each user is holding, so the next time they log in, they can easily continue. No books or special software are required. Upon completion, users prepare for exams to earn certificates.

Rabbi Desser also addressed current business owners seeking to upgrade their current workforce instead of being forced to fire incompetent employees. Business owners are eligible for very-low group rates to quickly advance their current employees productivity. The J Tech Center then allows the company managers access to their employees’ progress reports.

Rabbi Desser vividly drew the parallel between the J Tech Center and traditional classroom settings. A detailed course index assists students in quickly locating the topic they wish to study or review. Online quizzes then help them retain what they have learned.

All courses given by www.JTechCenter.com are designed to provide maximum knowledge for time invested. Some courses can be completed in a few hours.

In addition, The J Tech Center offers a unique classifieds section so that job seekers can see which jobs are HOT, helping them choose a career to train for.

Rabbi Desser concluded the event by inviting the participants to join the J Tech Center revolution by enrolling in the local center or online via www.JTechCenter.com.

Rabbi Desser passionately summed up with the following:

"Your families are counting on you! Learn how to earn at www.JTechCenter.com, your key to financial success!"

May all of Klal Yisroel be granted abundant parnassah.
