Much has been done b'gashmiyus in an effort to help the plight of R' Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin and certainly must continue, however, as the sentencing day draws near a more spiritual campaign is being unveiled, an effort to lay Tefillin on 10,000 persons by Thursday evening.

In order to motivate and monitor this campaign, a website has been set up where participants will pledge how many Tefillin they are undertaking to lay, along with a thermometer showing the 10,000 goal and the current status. This website will be open to anyone who wishes to volunteer to take upon himself to lay tefillin with any number of yidden from now until Thursday night. With less than 24 hours left until sentencing it is our hope and prayer that the performance of all of these mitzvahs will help bring ברכה והצלחה למעלה מדרך הטבע and a גאולה פרטית for שלום מרדכי הלוי בן רבקה, along with the hastening of the גאולה for כלל ישראל וכל העולם כולו.
